Some websites might appear blank or might not display correctly in Windows Internet Explorer. For example, portions of a webpage might be missing, info in a table might be in the wrong locations, or colors and text might be incorrect. Some webpages might not display at all.

If a portion of the webpage is blank or doesn’t display correctly, try one or more of these options:

To turn on Compatibility View:

Compatibility View helps improve how some websites look by displaying them as if you were using an earlier version of Internet Explorer. Turning Compatibility View on might fix problems like missing info or incorrect text and colors.

1. Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button . In the search box, type Internet Explorer, and then, in the list of results, click Internet Explorer.

2. Click the Compatibility View button on the Address bar.
For more info about Compatibility View, see ‘How to use Compatibility View in Internet Explorer 9′.

To turn off Tracking Protection for a single website:

Tracking Protection is a feature in Internet Explorer 9 that prevents websites from keeping track of your online activity. Here’s how you turn it off:

1. Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button . In the search box, type Internet Explorer, and then, in the list of results, click Internet Explorer.

2. Click the filter button in the Address bar, and then click Turn off Tracking Protection.

For more information about Tracking Protection, see How to use Tracking Protection and ActiveX Filtering.

Note:

If you’re using Internet Explorer 8, you can still find useful info by clicking the above link.
To turn off hardware acceleration

Hardware acceleration uses your computer’s graphics processor (GPU) to speed up graphics-heavy tasks like video streaming or online gaming. Turning this feature off might help the display issues. Older versions of Internet Explorer don’t use hardware acceleration. If you have Internet Explorer 9, you can try these steps:

1. Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button . In the search box, type Internet Explorer, and then, in the list of results, click Internet Explorer.

2. Click the Tools button , and then click Internet options.

3. Click the Advanced tab, and then select Use software rendering instead of GPU rendering.

4. Click OK, and then close and reopen Internet Explorer for the change to take effect.

Note:

If your computer’s GPU driver requires an update to work with Internet Explorer, then hardware acceleration might be turned off automatically. For more info about updating drivers, see Update a driver for hardware that isn’t working properly. If webpages don’t display at all, turning off Software Rendering might help.

WebCreationUS notice the most frequent versions of Internet Explorer that encounter these problems are Internet Explorer 7 & 8. If you are using an older version, update immediately for security and user experience reasons.

Sincerely,
-Team WebCreationUS (Adam)
